Aulani (Nani) specializes in communications and media relations for the biotechnology, pharma and digital health industry sectors – she has worked on efforts supporting technologies and therapies that address the most pressing challenges in a wide array of disease areas. She is most familiar with immune-oncology.

Aulani has developed and executed data-driven programs with a PESO approach (paid/earned/social/owned) to tactfully generate awareness and thought leadership that meets client objectives, including:

• Supporting companies through a range of corporate, regulatory and clinical development milestones, including commercialization/launches, IPOs, executive appointments, data readouts, and approvals.

• Coordinated several coaching sessions for C-suite executives and subject matter experts to help ensure preparedness for media engagements.

• Overseen conference and medical meeting media strategy, both on behalf of both attending/presenting companies and conference producers.

Aulani has established and nurtured reporter relationships for a diverse range of media outlets, including pharma, med-tech, and health trades, national and industry business media, local news outlets, as well as media in the UK, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. She has secured earned media opportunities with CNBC, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Endpoints, Fierce Biotech, Fast Company, Fortune, STAT, Wall Street Journal and more.  

Aulani has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Journalism and Media Studies, and Political Science from San Diego State University. She resides in San Diego and spends her free time traversing nature, gaming, crafting, and caring for her two (very) spoiled dogs.
